Perfect views of the city's famous skyline, Michelin-starred restos, and comfy beds–these are the best family suite in Hong Kong hotels.

Hong Kong’s a great holiday destination for families with older kids, as there’s so much to explore–and it helps when you don’t have to worry about bedtime. But even if you do, there are plenty of top hotels with awesome family suites in the Kong that, on their own, will make your trip worthwhile.

We’re talking hotels with perfect views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline, Michelin-starred restos, and stay-in-bed all day comfy beds. While hotels in Hong Kong are legally obliged to only accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child per room, there are some suites that are able to fit additional people in.

An affordable harbour front hotel

1/3

Designed for families of 4, the spacious City View Suite at The Salisbury consists of a bedroom with a king size bed and a living room with a double size sofa bed–ideal for 2 adults and 2 children (up-to age 17). What’s more, is that the hotel is located steps away from the Victoria Harbour waterfront and is a fraction of the price of its luxury hotel neighbours.

While the hotel isn’t brand new nor a luxury brand, the hotel was recently renovated and has all the facilities including a 6-lane indoor pool, quality of service, and prime location of a luxury brand. Pick a Harbour View for a view of the Symphony of Lights–same size as the Family Suite.

World-class kid’s services that impresses even the most paranoid parents

1/4

Before you head over to check out family room deals on trivago, know that by staying at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong you’ll get to experience an iconic Hong Kong landmark from the inside. Located by the harbour on Hong Kong island, you’ll have the best of old and new Hong Kong at your feet, starting with the view of the world-famous skyline from right outside your window. To catch the nightly Symphony of Lights show, stay in the Harbour View Room. Note that there’s a maximum of 3 people to a room. As for sleeping arrangements, families with young children can request cribs while older kids can order up rollaway beds–ultra comfy beds that have been lauded as the best part of the city by some holidaymakers.

As a world-class hotel that values family, it’s no surprise that the list of kids’ amenities here outshines other hotels and includes baby bottle warmers, sterilizers, cleaning brushes, baby tubs, and strollers (full list of kids’ amenities here). And, even the most paranoid of parents will be able to call a babysitter if they want a night on the town as at the MO babysitters are registered nurses/nursing students.

There’s also a lot to anticipate for family-friendly food: dim sum breakfasts at The Clipper Lounge, all-day dining with kid’s menu at Café Causette, in-room dining on kid’s Caesar salads and sweet and sour chicken, and plenty of fanciful cakes from The Mandarin Cake Shop for special occasions.
