Bubbly Bliss: 6 Hotels with In-Room Jacuzzi in Colorado

Create a little more romance on your next Colorado couple's getaway by booking a hotel with an in-room jacuzzi.

Romance and in-room jacuzzis go together about as well as bubbly and chocolate-covered strawberries in my mind. When on a couple’s getaway, I like to book rooms that have a hot tub, where I can spend quality time with my partner, while relaxing the muscles after a full day of travel activities.

In Colorado, the options are plenty! From the swanky ski towns of Aspen and Vail to more down-to-earth soaks in Manitou Springs or Ridgeway, the state is filled with romantic hotels and resorts that include jetted in-room tubs —and in some cases, private hot tubs. Here are six of my favorites:

Enjoy Private Hot Tubs and Great Views of San Juan Mountains

At the Chipeta Sun Lodge & Spa in the small San Juan Mountain town of Ridgeway, all but the two least expensive classes of rooms come with private hot tubs. Each room and suite at this mid-range hotel features slightly different decor, but all feature wood-beamed ceilings and warm color schemes. The hot tubs are set on private balconies with mountain views. Chipeta also has one-bedroom spa suites that come with full kitchens if you want to cook for yourself. Along with the in-room hot tubs, rooms here also come with steam showers.

Make sure to book a couple’s treatment at Chipeta’s impressive spa. Designed to restore balance and well-being, the Colorado CBD Wellness massage is very relaxing. Spa amenities include a circular cedar sauna, steam room, and two outdoor solar heated thermal pools with mountain views.

Ridgeway is located in the southwest corner of the state about 20 minutes from one of Colorado’s most scenically stunning towns, Ouray. This area is also rich with natural hot mineral springs and if you want to soak away from the hot tub, check out Orvis Hot Springs in Ridgeway. It is a clothing-optional natural mineral hot springs resort with seven different soaking pools of varying temperatures.

Popular with visiting celebrities, The Little Nell has an air of elegant exclusivity that is also very sexy. Couples in search of in-room jacuzzis will want to book one of the newly renovated suites. After you’ve finished soaking, grab dinner at element 47, the hotel’s signature fine dining restaurant. Right at the base of the gondola, Ajax Tavern is one of Aspen’s hottest lunch and after-ski spots. Don’t skip the truffle fries, fresh oysters, and of course champagne.

Have a Luxury Experience With Personal Hot Tub And Pikes Peak View in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs’ most revered resort, The Broadmoor, is a landmark five-star, five-Diamond property at the base of Cheyenne Mountain. For something really special, book their wilderness experience: Cloud Camp. Perched 3,000 feet above the resort on the top of Cheyenne Mountain, Cloud Camp is an all-inclusive luxury experience. It features 15 one- and two-bedroom cabins, six rooms in its main lodge, and the one-of-a-kind Fire Town Suite. The latter comes with a private hot tub just outside the bedroom — the views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding valley are truly amazing.

The romantic unit was constructed on the foundation of a building once used as a fire tower by the U.S. Forest Service (hence the moniker). To reach the suite, you climb 145 wooden steps that wind up the forested hillside. Besides the hot tub, other special extras include a private observation room that doubles as a workspace and boasts 360-degree views from its windows. It is furnished with a desk, chairs, and a telescope for stargazing, should you be interested in astrotourism.

Feel Like in a European Alpine Romantic Trip While in Vail

Designed to resemble a ski village in the European Alps, Vail has a romantic vibe year-round. In Vail Village you can stroll the pedestrian-only, cobbled streets past chalet-style buildings housing fondue restaurants and swanky boutiques. And the Four Seasons Resort Vail is one of the top resorts in town.

While all the rooms at this hotel have deep soaking tubs, you’ll need to book the Six-Bedroom Designer Residence if you want a totally private hot tub. It has one on its large outdoor terrace. Other perks of staying this over-the-top home are steam showers, two fireplaces and 360-degree village and mountain views.

The spa here is fabulous with a range of treatments including the Vail River Stone Massage. The treatment uses heated river stones and essential oils to create a stress melting experience. Afterwards grab dinner at Flame. The “modern mountain steakhouse” features all cuts of beef as well as vegetarian options like winter black truffle cacio e pepe pasta.

Experience a Cannabis-Friendly Getaway in a Vacation House With Private Hot Tub Near Breckenridge

Cannabis is legal in Colorado, but most hotels have strict no smoking or vaping policies, leaving guests with only the edible option route. While this is great for some, if you’re looking for a 420-friendly (as long as its done outdoors) vacation rental, then check out this Private Home with Hot Tub just a short drive from downtown Breckenridge. The four-bedroom house is even pet-friendly with a fenced yard and a dog door. It also comes with a full kitchen.

For soaking, there are multiple options including jacuzzis and steam showers in two of the bedrooms. But the best choice is the hot tub on the patio overlooking a pond with two waterfalls. Not a bad spot to chill and enjoy the landscape.

Pet Friendly! Private Hot Tub. Pond. Sunny. Secluded. Views! Kuerig:)

Cozy Up in Spa Tubs Made for Two in Manitou Springs

In the vibrant mountain town of Manitou Springs, Cliff House at Pikes Peak is nestled at the base of Pikes Peak and boasts an authentic, Victorian-era romantic ambiance. The stately small hotel has roots dating back nearly 150 years when it began as a stagecoach stop. Today it still evokes the elegant glamour of a bygone era – each of its 54 rooms and suites is uniquely decorated in late 1800s style. Many rooms here come with two-person spa tubs perfect for a couple’s getaway. They also feature fireplaces and steam showers.

Book a special dinner at The Dining Room, their signature restaurant serving award-winning cuisine in elegant environs. The menu here focuses on American classics with a nod toward Colorado-sourced ingredients. Try the Rocky Mountain trout with lemon and dill gremolata, cranberry butter, fingerling potatoes, and grilled asparagus.
