The cabin can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms. There is only one bathroom, however, so this cabin works best for either a family or one couple. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has a twin with a pop-up trundle. The main room is an open floor plan with living, dining and kitchen space.

The gas fireplace shaped like a wood stove heats the entire cabin and the temperature is controlled by a thermostat. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you need to cook. Note, that this cabin is located up a short hill from the owner’s house that can only be accessed by foot.

Located 25-miles southwest of Telluride in a stunning San Juan Mountain setting, this dog friendly property offers lodging in meticulously maintained cabins dating back to the 1800s that have between one and five bedrooms. One major perk of staying here is that guests have access to amenities at Tahoe Keys, which includes a marina, indoor (and outdoor) swimming pools and community beach access in the summer. You are also not far from shops and restaurants.

Offering 2,000 square feet of space, this Killington Vermont Ski House is perfect for a multi-gen family vacation since it can sleep up to 10 people. The custom built home was recently renovated and added on to, and features some nice perks. Head out onto the large deck for a soak in the hot tub with Green Mountain views, or detox with a sweat session in the indoor sauna.

The house has a bright and airy feel throughout, thanks to 24-foot cathedral ceilings on the first floor. Mountain winter décor (like antique skis and snowshoes) is displayed on the walls and there’s also a Vermont Castings wood stove. The second floor has a second living area that extends the length of the house, and has a sleeping alcove with a Murphy bed. There are also two full bedrooms.
