There is even a Centre Court with a stepped up viewing area so that you can feel like a real tennis star. Time your visit well and you may bump into tennis greats such as Andy Roddick, who come to the resort for pretournament practice.

Winter Training

Summer in England is a bit like Christmas. It’s mostly cold and there’s a fair amount of build-up but it tends to only last one day. So, in 2009, a retractable roof was installed on the Centre Court at Wimbledon so that play can resume even in the rain! If you’re looking for a tennis center with similar seasonal facilities then look no further than The Broadmoor where two of the courts are covered by an illuminated heated bubble during the winter months.
