The Best Miami Cocktail Bars #WithAView

By , December 9th, 2014

The most enjoyable travel experiences offer plenty of time to kick back, relax and savor the moments. What better way to enjoy a visit to Miami than to chill with an exquisite cocktail, fabulous company and a stunning view? Here are just a few of our favorite places that bring Miami bars all together without forgetting the view.

Bocce Ball at the Bar

MIDTOWN | 3252 NORTHEAST FIRST AVENUE

Miami Bocce BarBocce Bar Miami Sunday Brunch

Ready for a game of Bocce Ball? When you arrive at Bocce Bar you may come upon the entire staff getting in a quick game prior to dinner service. As you pull up a barstool and place your order, you may just have to remind yourself that you are in Miami and not Sorento.

TIP: Bocce has one of the best Sunday brunches in town including their Bocce’s Uova & Porchetta with poached eggs and fontina on a home made biscuit shown above.

The Cocktails

Be sure to try two of their authentic Italian cocktails — the Bocce and the Negroni. The Bocce is crafted with Amaretto, mandarin vodka, orange, almond and soda. The Negroni is made with gin, Campari and Martini Rosso.

The Perfect Panorama

SONESTA COCONUT GROVE HOTEL | 2889 McFarlane Rd, Coconut Grove, FL

Panorama Sky Lounge Miami BarsView at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Miami

Coconut Grove is one of the oldest suburbs of Miami and definitely the most laid back area in the entire city. Located on Biscayne Bay, you’ll be able to take in a full view of the Coconut Grove Marina & Dinner Key; where Pan Am’s original flying clippers would take off from the bay to Latin America in the 1930s and ‘40s. The original Pan Am terminal, which now serves as Miami City Hall, still stand there today.

TIP: You must try their mojitos and if you’re hungry, the ceviche.

The Cocktails

Pull into the Sonesta Hotel and up to the eighth floor Panorama Sky Lounge for a leisurely rush hour stop after a day of sailing. The setting is just as fabulous in the evening as well. In fact, this is one of our favorite lookout spots on July 4th. Reservations are necessary, so be sure to plan ahead!
